Privacy Policy

Plain English, no lawyer-speak. Here is exactly what this site collects, what it does not, and what you can do about it.

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

  • The training planner runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into it is ever sent anywhere.
  • I do not have accounts, logins, newsletters or a mailing list.
  • The site shows ads, and ad providers use cookies. That is the main thing to know.
  • If you use the contact form, I get your name, email and message. Nothing else, and I do not share it.

The training planner

When you enter your shifts and choose how many sessions you can make, all of that is processed on your own device, inside your browser.

It is never transmitted to any server. It is not stored. It is not logged. I never see it, and neither does anyone else. Close the tab and it is gone.

Advertising and cookies

This site is free to read and is supported by advertising through Google AdSense.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

How to opt out

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.

You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

Details of how Google handles data on sites that use its services are available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are shown a consent notice before any non-essential cookies are set.

You can accept, reject, or manage your choices, and you may withdraw your consent at any time through the same notice or through your browser settings.

The contact form

If you send me a message, the form collects your name, email address and the content of your message. It collects nothing else.

Form submissions are handled by Netlify, the hosting provider for this site.

Your details are used solely to reply to you. They are not added to any mailing list, not used for marketing, and not sold or shared with anyone.

The form includes a hidden anti-spam field. It is there to catch bots, and it does not collect anything about you.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like essentially all web hosts, Netlify may process standard technical information as part of serving the site — things such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

This is ordinary server operation. I do not use it to build any profile of you, and I do not have any analytics tool of my own tracking you around this site.

What this site does not do

  • No accounts, no logins, no passwords.
  • No newsletter and no mailing list.
  • No selling of any data to anyone, ever.
  • No affiliate links. When I mention something I use, nobody is paying me to say it.
  • No products for sale. There is nothing to buy here.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with data protection law, you have rights over any personal data I hold about you — including the right to ask for a copy of it, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted.

In practice, the only personal data I could possibly hold is a message you chose to send me through the contact form. If you would like it deleted, ask through the contact page and I will delete it.

Children

This site is written for adults doing shift work. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Substantial changes will be obvious rather than buried.

And a reminder that is not about privacy

Nothing on this site is medical advice. I am a shift worker who trains, not a doctor, dietitian or coach. Talk to a qualified professional before starting any training programme, changing your diet, or taking any supplement.

Questions about any of this?

If something here is unclear, or you want data deleted, just ask.
